The past few months have been busy and fun. We started off April with a trip to see family and friends in DC/VA/MD. While in DC Jillian saw her first dinosaurs and also expended a lot of energy running on The Mall. She had a ball visiting with a former colleague of mine from Nat'l Geographic and saw "Obama's house" as well.





And when we weren't in DC she was Easter egg hunting at cousin Dave's house. My cousin Julie went over and beyond by hiding eggs around her house and also giving Jillian an Easter basket. All in all she managed to get FIVE Easter baskets over the weekend from various friends and family. I wish I had remembered to take a picture of all of the baskets together. The girl had quite the haul. Such a great trip and what an awesome family we have. The following five photos are courtesy of cousins Julie and Loren. I think the one of her in the swing may be one of my favorites....ever!







This photo was taken a few Sundays back when Jillian first wore her new pretty summer dress with matching shoes. (Thanks Grandmommy!) And as you can see, we were starting to see the first green sprigs from our vegetable garden.


And this photo was taken on one of our many spring hiking trips.......the girl is just as comfortable on a footpath through the forest as she is in her Sunday best.


And she has just as much fun as a ballerina...
