Well, Frank and I made it through our first birthday party for Jillian. Eight little ones running around is quite busy. I have a new appreciation for teachers of young children. Despite the sheer exhaustion of putting it together and then putting it on, I'm very glad we did it. It was definitely fun, if not also sensory overload for all involved, not just the wee ones. The important thing is that Jillian had a blast and it was great to see her with her "buddies and best friends." Of course, she also calls her blanket her best friend and Halle and Luray her best friends and the lady bug on the window her best friend etc.. She's all about being 3, completely full of herself and a total hoot!

A lot of Jillian's pics as of late have been ones of her in skirts and dresses looking really neat and cute. But, it should be noted that the girl is also rough and tumble and quite the comedienne, as seen in the picture below.
