Just a quick update. There won't be too much too report for a little while. My expected travel date to leave for China is either March 22 or March 29. I will not know anything for sure until about 2 wks prior to the trip. And those are just targets. Even those dates could change. In the meantime it's just prep time. I have a huge To Do list so I'll be quite busy.

This past week has been a whirlwind. I managed to sit down with Jillian's new pediatrician on Wednesday and she had great things to say about her medical report. She said it was very comprehensive and she hasn't seen one quite that detailed in a long time. After looking at Chinese female growth charts she was able to determine that Jillian is right in the middle of the acceptable range, which is excellent. I think I mumbled something like "you go girl." Ahh, a mother's pride. There were other areas of discussion and observations but in a nutshell, she's all good, on paper. Makes me very happy and very hopeful.

AND I may have also found a picture of Jillian from last August. It was one of many posted on the Dianjiang Kids website. There's a great group of adoptive parents, family and friends that have spent a lot of time and energy to help this orphanage and the children in its care. If you would like to see some of the projects they have started and worked on then check out www.dianjiangkids.org. The past trip pictures are more for parents, so they are password protected, but there is still a lot for you to see on the other pages. Needless to say, I will be joining this group to help support my daughter's caregivers and the children that will come to/through Dianjiang.

And last but not least, a big thank you to all, for your amazing support and good wishes. Can't wait for you to meet Jillian.
