And then Jillian ditched me for mom and had her "read" her a bedtime story. But Jillian doesn't actually let you read to her. It's more like letting her flip through the pages and then she gets on and off your lap so that she can switch out the books, until she's managed to flip through five or six. Up, down, up, down. It can be quite exhausting as mom found out.

Jillian and I managed to make it to church for the first time this morning. We didn't attend the service, but I met up with mom and we introduced her to a lot of folks. I also showed her the nursery as well as the empty sanctuary, before the 11am service. Jillian took to the nursery like it was no big deal and so we stayed for about 15 minutes. She then ran straight to the organist once in the sanctuary. She giggled as he moved his hands over the keys and looked up as the organ sounded. And of course, she also climbed right on up into Ken's pulpit. I tell ya, she just makes herself at home no matter where she is. Gotta love her for it too.
This is a picture from this morning before heading to church. Don't you just love the tan lines from her sandals.
